For the first time, Washington Wolves Field Hockey Goalie Coach Sarah Holliday is offering training in conjunction with our Summer Camp!
This summer, Coach Sarah is offering:
- Two, week-long summer camp for beginner and intermediate goalies (2nd session, 4 days)
- One, week-long summer camp for advanced goalies
- One, 4-day High School prep camp for all High School goalies to prepare for the upcoming fall season.
Beginner and Intermediate
Goalies who are looking to work on the basics and grow their confidence in their understanding of the game while having fun. Basic skills that will be emphasized are: kicking, clearing, lunging, diving, aerial saves, and smothering. Small groups to ensure reps and individual feedback and attention. Limited to 5 goalies.
- Session #2 – Monday, June 27 – Friday, July 1, 1:30p – 4:00p, $390
- Session #6 – Monday, July 25 – Thusday, July 28, 1:30p – 4:00p, $312
Advanced
Goalies who are confident in their basic and extended skills who are looking to be challenged skill-wise, polish their play, and learn how to become the commander of their defense – and, of course, enjoy playing and have fun. Small groups to ensure reps and individual feedback and attention. Limited to 5 goalies.
- Session #4 – Monday, July 11 – Friday, July 15, 1:30p – 4:00p, $390
High School Goalie Prep Camp
For high school goalies of all skill levels who are looking to prepare for their upcoming season. Sessions will cover basic and advanced skills, how to communicate, goalie-specific fitness, and fun goalie games, as well as conversations about the ins and outs of being a high school athlete and how to give your mind and body the best chance for peak performance. Limited to 6 goalies.

About Coach Sarah Holliday:
Sarah Holliday was a vital part of the University of Maryland’s defense for four years as a goalkeeper, winning two Big Ten Championships (’15 & ’18) and leading the team to two National Championship games (’17 & ’18). Sarah is a graduate of the Bullis School and played with the Washington Wolves throughout her time as a club player prior to attending Maryland.
Immediately after graduation, Sarah served as UMD’s goalkeeper coach in ’19 and ’21, seeing another Final Four with the Maryland team. Sarah has been coaching hockey players from ages 8 to 65 for the past seven years and is passionate about both the success and happiness of the players she serves.
Sarah comes from a family of executive coaches, and off the field, she is a High Performance Coach who works with athletes and athletic minded executives who desire creative solutions on how to perform at their highest level, which includes developing their personal leadership, team culture, and personal strategy.
